Comment by Wirxaw Well, taking living steel as an neglectable component(9-11k mat price), I can only assume these Stabilized Lightning Sources will be some engineering-converted raid drops for blacksmithing, with possible daily cooldown and additional costs. If DE blood spirits have fallen in price to nearly 1-2k due to their abundance, I suppose a rare boss mat(like we had in WotLK and Cata), converted with a price and cooldown, would be at least 5-10k worth for quite some time. Maybe by the end of expansion it may be down to 3-5k, but that's in ages. Assuming the price of 5k and being hopeful, that becomes 150k gold price for Lightning stuffs.

With 10k for Living Steel(which will go up again). Now I can only guess that rarity of this recipe will be no less than Sandstone predecessor, meaning that crafting fee will amount in thousands. Congrats, who needs yak. Who needs $forced TCG. We are going to have legitimately obtainable 200k price mount.

Comment by Miztahchipz SKY GOLEM For what its worth I thought I would pass on what info I could as of 7/28/13 8AM EST. I've spent a lot of time searching the net, fan sites, and playing the 5.4 PTR and managed to find a few things out, but none of which is absolute when it goes live. SKY GOLEM is the craziest of all engineering mounts, imo.

Its a ton of fun to fly, swaying back and forth, side to side, barrel rolls w/a turbo boost all while bouncing off anything you get too close to! The Sky Golem transforms into a robot on the ground. You sit atop his chest which is a big, mean goblin head and the whole thing shakes, ratttles, and rolls with all kinds of steam, whistles, buzzing, and so on. In the Vale of Eternal Blossoms that has been corrupted by the Sha, you (an engineer of either type) can get a drop of Schematic: Chief Engineer Jard's Journal off presumably any mob here.

Since there is some potentially pretty nasty bad news, I wonder if Blizz may make it a profession specific mount only. The possible bad news has to do with the mats which at least for PTR are the following: 1) Quantity 30 of Jard's Peculiar Energy Source ***DAILY CD*** 2) Quantity 30 of Living Steel I only notated the Jard's Peculiar Energy Source as being once per day because I didn't know if any of the other items, both new and old, will or will still have a daily CD.
